 "Climate Change and Resiliency of Filipinos." Climate change is a big problem that is making life harder for many Filipinos. Because the Philippines is often hit by typhoons, floods, and other natural disasters, the changes in our environment affect a lot of people, especially those who don’t have much. Even though these challenges are hard, Filipinos always find ways to recover and stay strong, showing the world what resilience means. One reason why climate change is getting worse is deforestation. When trees are cut down for farming, construction, or illegal logging, it leads to floods and the destruction of natural habitats. Another reason is the pollution caused by factories, cars, and the use of plastics, which increases global warming. These problems make typhoons stronger, cause sea levels to rise, and disrupt the lives of many Filipinos. Filipinos are resilient, but we can’t rely on resilience alone.
